Description:
  • Directs, oversees, and coordinates the planning, development, delivery, administration, and review of all academic programs and services, instruction and assessment, research, academic policies and procedures, and strategic academic efforts and initiatives in a college or university.
  • Determines scheduling of courses and recommends implementation of additional courses.
  • Heads all personnel matters relating to the faculty including recruitment, development, and evaluation of faculty and academic support staff; provides personnel management and direction to deans, chairpersons, and academic administrators, promoting faculty advancement.
