Job Summary

Description:
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operation and maintenance of compressor-station equipment, such as gas compressors, stationary engines, and pipelines to transmit natural gas: directs workers to start or stop compressors to increase or decrease gas pressure.
  • May operate equipment during emergencies.
  • May supervise workers engaged in operation and maintenance of automobiles, trucks, and related equipment.
  • Performs duties as described under supervisor.
