Job Summary

Description:
  • Provides clinical pharmacy services support for formulary development and maintenance, pull-through development, and drug information services for a medical clinic or hospital.
  • Writes, coordinates, and presents evaluations of drugs.
  • Advises Physicians and reviews prescriptions issued by Physicians, or other authorized prescriber, to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
  • Provides clinical support for updating the formulary's clinical guideline sections.
