Description:
  • Inspects and tests parts, subassemblies, and processes for conformance to quality standards, using written specifications, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Checks purchased or in-plant-fabricated parts for observable defects and tests specific components for hardness, dimensions and tolerances, using blueprints, hardness testing machine, and precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.
