2013 Compensation Surveys Available August 1

ERI Salary Surveys will release its 2013 collection of industry and job function compensation surveys for the United States and Canada on August 1. These are true salary surveys, reporting participant data gathered during the present and prior year (October 2012 to April 2013), complemented by two additional sections of data for comparison purposes. Year-to-Year Analysis of Salary Survey Data Trends: 2012-2013

This analysis compares salaries between 2012 and 2013 submissions to ERI Salary Surveys, for both nonprofit and for-profit reports. For each year, total averages were calculated by job title, and included all available data (that is, industry and area breakouts were ignored) to maximize sample size (similar to a national report). Rather than offering changes in traditional plans, some employers are moving to high deductible health plans coupled with a Health Savings Account.
