Compensation Committee Certification (CCC)

Professionals asked to serve on the boards of for-profit and non-profit organizations are responsible for overseeing these organizations’ executive pay packages. Under intermediate sanctions, board members of tax-exempt organizations who make decisions about executive compensation are required to be knowledgeable about compensation so they can make informed decisions about reasonable compensation. Sarbanes-Oxley also requires board members of for-profit companies to be knowledgeable about compensation when making decisions about executive compensation. By completing this series of online courses, board members and those engaged in developing executive pay packages can earn a credential in executive compensation analysis.

DLC Compensation Committee Certification (CCC) courses teach:

  • Compliance with compensation and benefits laws and regulations
  • Board member selection and service
  • Avoidance of intermediate sanctions on tax-exempt organizations’ executive compensation
  • Determination of reasonable executive compensation in for-profit companies

Earning your CCC:

  • Gain a solid foundation in executive pay planning
  • Education without the time, expense, and inconvenience of travel
  • Work at your own pace from anywhere you have an Internet connection
  • Easily fits into your busy schedule
  • Get HRCI and SHRM recertification credit simultaneously at no additional cost

Individuals who have earned a CCC will feel more comfortable making executive compensation decisions because they will have gained a solid foundation in executive pay planning. This short and convenient program is self-paced and can be completed at home or at work.
