QUESTION:  When I try to print a position description, the text that is "blue" doesn't print.  How can I solve this?

 

This problem is known to affect some users who are trying to print to a Brother HL series printer.  Please be sure that you have the appropriate and latest printer driver installed.  (See Check Your Printer Driver.)  Also, enable "Improve Gray Printing."

 

1.Open "Printers and Faxes" (click your Windows "Start" button to select).
2.Right-click the icon for the printer you are using, and then click "Printing Preferences."
3.Click "Advanced."
4.Under the "Print Quality" options, enable "Improve Gray Printing" (i.e., make sure that it is checked).

 

Then try printing a position description via the "File | Print" menu of the Salary Assessor®, Executive Compensation Assessor® or Occupational Assessor® (eDOT).
