Job Description: Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in medical emergency and urgent care operations; responsibilities may include but are not limited to emergency room operations, emergency room nursing services, and off-site emergency or urgent care operations, and transportation including air ambulances. A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.: Supervises employees involved in rescue, transportation, and care of accident or catastrophe victims, and others requiring emergency medical assistance. Arranges for establishment of emergency medical facilities, staffing of facilities by emergency-trained medical and auxiliary personnel, installation of telecommunication network components, and acquisition of emergency vehicles. Maintains records of facilities and personnel, and periodically inspects facilities to ensure capability of meeting emergency needs. Develops, plans, and participates in training programs for ambulance and rescue personnel. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces safety regulations. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
