The Geographic Reference Report® is a softcover composite summary of all Assessor Series® compensation databases. Data include salaries for 88 benchmark jobs, cost-of-living, and demographics information for 298 North American metro areas. ERI researchers save our customers time and expense by collecting and analyzing wage/salary and cost-of-living information.
The Geographic Reference reports cost-of-living differentials (for renters) summary data, demographic data, and competitive median wage and salary levels for 88 benchmark positions. Benchmark positions' salaries are derived from our analyses of thousands of wage surveys and sources. Cost-of-living variance models are developed from downloaded databases and listings.
The Geographic Reference Report no longer provides wage and salary differential equations under Area Structures. Please see ERI's Geographic Assessor® software for automatic calculations of wage and salary differentials for nearly 7,000 North American cities. The Consultant Edition of the Geographic Assessor software provides data for additional locations in the United Kingdom and Europe.
ERI's Geographic Reference Report is released in December, with wage and salary estimates trended forward to a January 1 compensation planning date.
