Switching Between Mean and Median Depending on the Assessor Series® application you are working with, mean can be switched to median, and vice versa, simply by clicking on the words "Mean" or "Median" (in blue) on the table OR selecting the Options | Mean or Median Salaries menu.
Definitions ERI defines mean as the average of all survey data available for the particular job, industry, company size, and geographic area derived from an analyses of multiple data sources projecting real time data.
ERI defines the median as the value at which half of all incumbents earn more, and half of all incumbents earn less than the calculated salary.
