QUESTION: When using the "File | E-mail Current Screen" feature from any Assessor Series® application, I run into problems.
For example, if you use Windows XP and Microsoft Outlook 2002, you may have the following occur when you select File | E-mail Current Screen:
1. The e-mail dialog appears as it should.
2. After filling out the required information ("To:" and "Subject:") and clicking the Send an E-mail button, the following dialog box appears:
3. If you check to enable the program to allow access for one minute and then click the Yes button, another dialog box appears:
4. The progress bar fills up (which means that the e-mail has been sent), but when you click the Yes button, the original e-mail dialog box is still there. If you close out of the e-mail dialog box, you may notice that the following dialog is in the background:
5. Click OK, and then check to see if the e-mail was sent (a copy of the e-mail should be in your "Sent Items" folder in Microsoft Outlook).
Other variations of this problem may also occur. Just be aware that if the e-mail dialog box (with the "To:" or "From:" fields) is still there even after it looks like you've sent the e-mail, chances are that the "E-mail sent successfully" message is somewhere in the background. You may need to minimize other application windows to find it.
