QUESTION: I haven't received my update. (OR: My data has expired. I thought I had a subscription for the whole year?)
Subscriptions to ERI data are offered on an annual basis with four quarterly updates. All quarterly datasets have an expiration date, after which the data will no longer be accessible. (See FAQ Using ERI Products Question #5 and FAQ Using ERI Products Question #6.)
Most likely, one of the following is true:
The Platform Library® CD-ROM includes all Assessor Series® software database updates. If you have the Platform Library CD-ROM for the current quarter, use it to update the Assessor Series applications that you subscribe to. (See Installation - CD-ROM for options.)
If you are not the contact name on the account, check with the person who receives the updates and see if perhaps they have not yet forwarded the latest update to you. Also, please contact ERI and provide the correct name of each and every user -- we need to have the name of all users in our system in order to be able to provide customer service or technical support. (See ERI End-User License Agreement.)
If the contact name or address has changed, or if you think your subscription may have expired, please contact ERI.
If you have a current subscription, and all other possible reasons why you haven't received the update have been considered, please contact ERI to request the latest CD-ROM. In the meantime, you may update the Assessor Series software databases from the Internet for immediate access to the most recent data. See Installation - Internet. |
