QUESTION: When updating the Platform Library®, I get an error message saying that I don't have enough disk space.
ERI's Platform Library requires a significant amount of hard drive space for installation/update. See System Requirements for disk space requirements.
If a message appears saying you do not have enough disk space during installation/update of the Platform Library, but you have a previous version of the Platform Library installed, and you want the new Platform Library to install over the old Platform Library, then chances are you will have enough disk space. The software does not take into account that you will be copying over the old Platform Library.
The Platform Library main screen and datasets can be run from the DVD and do not require installation. However, certain features of some Assessor Series® applications do require the Platform Library; so, if you do not install the Platform Library, make sure that it is in your PC's DVD drive or a network DVD tower when needed.
