QUESTION:  When I attempt to install the Assessor Series by running eri.exe from the Platform Library® DVD, it results in an error message: "The handle is invalid."

Administrators should be aware of default policy settings that would prohibit applications launching from removable media.  For example, the Semantic Endpoint Protection policy that is created and distributed with deployed packages includes a rule set named, "Block programs from running from removable drives" that is enabled by default.  This setting must be disabled to run eri.exe from the Platform Library DVD.
