Using an Assessor Series® Application Icon on your Windows Desktop
Check to see if the icon is pointing to the place where the Assessor Series product is installed.
| 1. | With your mouse, right-click the icon on your Windows Desktop. |
| 2. | Select Properties. Depending on how the shortcut was created, you will see either 2, 3 or 6 tabs. |
| 3. | If you see 2 or 3 tabs... |
| A. | Select the Shortcut tab. |
| B. | Make sure the address in the Target: field points to where the Assessor Series application executable file is located (i.e., c:\eri\erisawin\erisawin.exe). If it does not, type in the appropriate path, or move the current icon to the Recycle Bin and create a new one using the Windows feature to create icons. (See Windows Help.) |
| A. | Select the Program tab. |
| B. | Make sure the address in the Cmd: field points to where the Assessor Series application executable file is located (i.e., c:\eri\erisawin\erisawin.exe). If it does not, type in the appropriate path, or move the current icon to the Recycle Bin and create a new one using the Windows feature to create icons. (See Windows Help.) |
If the path displayed is the correct path, then you may not have installed the Assessor Series application properly. See FAQ Installation Question #1 for installation options.
