Using the Start | Programs | ERI Economic Research Institute... Shortcut

Check to see if more than one copy of the Assessor Series® application you are trying to run is on this shortcut list:

1.	Click the Windows Start button.

2.	Select Programs \| Economic Research Institute....

3.	In the list of Assessor Series software databases displayed, do you have more than one of the same application (i.e., two "Salary Assessor® for Windows")?

•	If so, you may have multiple copies of the Assessor Series application installed. It is recommended that you remove extra copies of any Assessor Series application installed to your PC or LAN. (See Uninstall ERI's Software Products.)

•	If you do not have a shortcut for the Assessor Series application, then you may not have properly installed it. See FAQ Installation Question #1 for installation options.

LAN USERS: If the latest version of the Assessor Series software database is installed on a network drive, the Start | Programs | ERI Economic Research Institute... shortcut is most likely unavailable, or it is pointing to an old Assessor Series application installed to your PC hard drive. If the latest Assessor Series application is installed on a network drive, it is recommended that you remove all ERI applications (including current quarter data) from your PC hard drive.
